Franz Ziegler
President of the Jury
As president of the Jury, Franz' role is to oversee the rules and selection of the judges for the 2007 National Pastry Team Championship.
Franz Ziegler works as an independent consultant in the pastry field and has been offering his skill and talent as a “think tank” since 1996. He has written three books, Magic Chocolate, Chocolate Fantasy, and Murb & Knusprig, for the professional and creative pastry chef and chocolatier. Franz, who has extensive experience judging international competitions, coached the Swiss Pastry Teams that competed at the 2002, 2004 and 2006 World Pastry Team Championships. In 2004, he even stepped in two weeks before the competition to replace the ailing team captain. This year, Franz will be taking the reigns as President of the Jury of the 2007 National Pastry Team Championship.
